We’re tough

For over 80 years, our apparel has stood up to the rigors of the toughest work environments, the toughest climates and the craziest adventures. From day one, we have made designing and manufacturing quality garments our top priority.

Our designers and pattern maker go out of their way to put decades of experience to work sourcing the right fabrics, the right components and working through every design detail.

Product Features

Our garments are put to the test. That’s why our designers carefully select components that enhance the durability of all of our apparel. Our high visibility safety gear meets or exceeds all CSA and ANSI requirements, providing the protection needed on work and job sites.

YKK Zippers

When it comes to consistency and reliability, there is simply no better zipper.

Metal Rivets

Rivets and shanks add extra durability to garments to help them stand up to punishment.

3M™ Thinsulate Insulation

A 3M™ product known for creating warmth without adding weight.

3M™ Taping

3M™ Retroreflective Scotchlight™ Tape meets or exceeds the highest industry safety standards for reflection. It also offers incredible durability.

The creation process

Many people at our head office and manufacturing plant in Winnipeg, Canada, and around the world, are involved in creating our garments.

To ensure what’s manufactured is of the highest quality, we’ve put in place extensive quality control requirements in all of our factory partnerships around the world. We follow AQL2.5 quality control processes throughout our organization, do inline inspections and treat all partners as part of our team.

Pattern Cutting

With over 25 years of experience on the cutting floor, "Louie" makes short work of cutting out a stack of the pieces that make up this pattern.

Manual Sewing

Skilled hands work to sew on a handy vest pocket.

Installing a zipper

A heavy duty zipper is being set into this jacket.

Sewing a Felled Seam

Here the front and back panels are combined with a felled seam, which adds durability to the garment and makes it more comfortable to wear.

Bar Tacking

Bar tacking at stress points reinforces the areas that see the most wear.

Floor Inspection

Floor Supervisor Helena inspects every finished garment to ensure each piece meets our exacting standards before it leaves the sewing floor.

Quality Assurance

Global Quality Assurance Manager Jason and his team examine each garment to make certain it conforms to our stringent quality standards. If the garment passes these symmetry and benchmark tests, it goes on to be packaged and boxed for shipping.
